Our story — from Kerala to Chennai

DD Wedding Studio began in the green quiet of Kerala — backwaters, oil-lit temples, and the slow ceremonies that taught us to wait. Today the studio lives in Chennai, but the eye is still very much Malayali: patient, humid, devoted to texture.

We've spent the last several years quietly documenting the in-between — the seconds before a vow, the breath after a laugh, the hand that reaches for another without realising.

Across 10+ weddings, pre-wedding stories, video & reel shoots, maternity, newborn and couple sessions, our work is built on one quiet belief: pictures don't preserve moments. They return us to them.

We work with a limited number of clients each season — because every story deserves attention, not output.

How we work

We begin every project with a conversation — about you, your people, the texture of the day. We arrive early, we stay quiet, and we trust the room to give us what's true.

Our edits favour shadow over flash, intention over abundance. You will receive fewer pictures than you might from another studio, and we believe you will return to them more often.
